Obituary for Alvin Kenneth "Snookums" Kellam

Where it has pleased Almighty God Ruler of the Earth, on Friday, December 9, 2022, Alvin was called home.

Alvin Kenneth Kellam, son of the late Floyd Kellam and Clara Kellam, was born on March 18, 1957 in Accomack County, Virginia.

Alvin attended the Accomack County Public Schools. He was a trained and certified automotive mechanic and dabbled in the trade throughout his life. For several years, Alvin owned and operated a commercial cleaning business.

Alvin was an excellent gardener, creative cook, and a prolific story-teller.

There is no way you can touch every positive aspect of a life expanding over 65 years. All the things that Alvin accomplished were amazing after surviving an accident that nearly took his life over 48 years ago and confined him to a wheel chair.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Kellam, Larry Kellam, and John Kellam; and sister, Jean Kellam Baugh.

He leaves to cherish his memories, brothers, James Kellam and George Kellam; sisters, Joan Kellam Johnson, Joy Kellam Tyler, and Jaqueline Dennis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We thank you for sharing your contagious laughter and funny stories that all added to the happiness you brought to all that knew you.

Sorrowfully submitted,
The Family
