Bonnie Renae Dennis, the daughter of the late Mabel Dennis, was born on September 12, 1958 in Atlantic, Virginia. She was raised by the late Vincent and Delores Scarborough, who considered her their daughter. She departed this life on February 14, 2022 due to an untimely death.
Bonnie was a graduate of Atlantic High School. She worked at Holly Farms for over twenty years. Bonnie made plenty of friends along the way. Her last place of employment was at Food Lion, where she worked until her retirement.
Bonnie was always the life of the party, especially during the holidays when she knew her sister, Diane, was making her favorite corn pudding. She would often attend Jerusalem Baptist Church with her sister where she enjoyed herself and would talk about church all week. Bonnie enjoyed playing spades with her nephews. She loved to read and complete crossword puzzles. She was always there to lend a helping hand. She loved her sisters and brothers. Although Bonnie never reared any children of her own, she had several nephews who called her Ma Bonnie.
Bonnie leaves to cherish her precious memories: brothers, Garry (Tina) Dennis of Ocean City, MD, Bryan (Ulla) Scarborough of West Germany, Vincent (Shannon) Scarborough of Locustville, VA, and Stephen (Michele) Scarborough of Richmond, VA; sisters, Diane (Nathaniel) Turner of Greenbush, VA, Leslie Scarborough of Wattsville, VA, and Delores Scarborough of Atlantic, VA; and a host of godchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Sorrowfully submitted,
The Family
