Chavon Equin Harmanson, beloved son of Charles Hope, Sr. and Keiosha Harmanson, passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, Virginia. He was born August 14, 1991 in Nassawadox, Virginia.

Chavon was educated in the public schools of Accomack County School. He graduated from Nandua High School in June 2010.

“Chuckie,” as he was known to his family and friends, was born with sickle cell anemia. This condition caused him to spend lots of time in the hospital. While hospitalized, he found the love of music to help him pass the time. Music became his passion. He often expressed his desire to make and record his own music one day.

Chuckie is survived by his mother, Keiosha Harmanson; father, Charles Hope Sr.; sister, Tyquesha Harmanson; brothers, Zak'ar Hope, Elijah Hope, Charles Hope, Jr., and Joshua Hope; god-brother, Rendell Chandler, II; grandmothers, Vivian (McKinley) Collins and Brenda Smith; aunts, Trinette Harmanson, Edna (Bobbie) Dennis, and Connie Greene; uncle, Wilbert Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
