Obituary for Donald Lester "Donnie" Corbin

Donald Lester Corbin, son of the late Milton Johnson and Theola Lee Corbin, was born on October 7, 1955. Donald was called home on January 2, 2021

He received his education in the Accomack County public schools system. Donald was hard worker. He obtained his CDL’s and worked for the City of Wilmington, DE for several years. Later he moved back to the Eastern Shore, where he worked until his health would no longer permit.

Donald enjoyed fishing, making people laugh, working on cars, and being with family. Donald was known for his personality and witty sense of humor. He was one of the best trash talkers on the shore. One of his favorite lines was, “to be the man, you got to beat the man. ”He was loved by all who knew him.

Donald will live on in the memory of his family: his children, Donnell Tingle( Tonya) of NC, Donise Loper ,( Quan ) of CT, and Damen Loper of CT; his siblings, Alton (Chuck) Corbin(Dawn) of VA, Janice Corbin of CT, Herb Holden (Bernice) of VA, Jim Johnson of VA, Linda Lewis of VA, Dwight (Ike) Corbin of VA; grandchildren, Quentin Tingle, Donnell Tingle, Jr, Dejah Tingle, Marvin Hurley, Davion Alexis, and Adonica Alexis; one great-granddaughter, Alyana Tingle, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
