Obituary for Elizabeth Louise Jordan (Harris)

Elizabeth meant so many things to so many people. Family and
friends who love her affectionately called her by nicknames such
as “Louise, Lou,Weezie, and Miss Elizabeth,” but to the
immediate family she leaves behind, she will always be Mom &
Grandma.

To mom, family was everything. She was a dedicated wife,
mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, caregiver and friend.
Elizabeth leaves behind;

Her eldest son Ben Jordan “Bennie” and his loving wife Lula.
Her daughter and soulmate, Ginger Harmon “Ginny,” and her
husband Steven Harmon, and her grandchildren, Jordan, Joy,
and Mike, with whom mom spent her last year with here on the
Shore.

Her youngest son Nicholas Jordan “Nick,” and my wonderful
wife Madhavi Jordan who helped mom more than anyone could
every know, and her grandchildren Maddic and Dacota
“Babydoll” Jordan.

Prior to 2020 our home was mom’s home for 13 years. She
enjoyed sitting outside in the breeze, playing with the kids and
“Oreo” our dog, and of course shopping with her best buddy
Martina!

Mom also leaves behind her loving brother, Louis Harris and
Annie Bell Spann, her step-brother Rodney “Ronnie” Tankard,
along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who thought of her
like a sister.
Mom lives on through so many of us.

Miss Elizabeth,” as many knew her, touched so many children’s
lives throughout the years as a childcare provider. At times it
felt like our home was a second home for many kids. Everyday
a warm hug, a hot meal, and a big smile greeted each of them
and I know, that even as adults, they still love her and think of
her in a motherly way.

She loved each and each and everyone of you!
