GeKeia Antraile White-Justis was born Wednesday, August 11, 1982 to Carmel White and the late Glen Collins, Sr. “Gi Gi,” as she was affectionately known, gained her wings on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 3:57 PM, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, holding the hands of her mother and Uncle Greg with her loving caregiver Aunt Pam by her side.
Gi Gi graduated in the top 5 of her class from Arcadia High School in 2000. She matriculated at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and was a Magna Cum Laude Honors graduate in 2004.
Gi Gi was a loving and affectionate person who was always willing to extend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and friend. She was always looking out for her sister, Alyese, special nephew, Avery, and special niece, Reagan.
Gi Gi was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), for the last sixteen years, but sshhhh… don’t tell anybody.
Gi Gi loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. They would enjoy shopping together, especially for new purses and dinning at fine restaurants.
Gi Gi leaves to cherish her loving memory: her loving and devoted parents, Carmel and Alvin Justis; two sisters, Alyese Justis and Aneshia (Tony) Manuel; four brothers, AnAnias “Mickey” Wilson, Allen Justis, Glen Collins, Jr., and Brandon Collins; two grandfathers, Brantley Hinmon and James Wilson; four nieces; three nephews; ten aunts; nine uncles; three great-aunts; three great-uncles; one great, great-aunt; six aunts-in-law; godmother, Sandra Justice; special caregiver, Pamela McKyer Johnson; adopted sister, Tykisha Matthews; adopted brothers, Lionell Watson and Kevin Hall; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Lovingly and sorrowfully submitted,
The Family
