Obituary for Gloria Althea Ewell (Tull)

GLORIA ALTHEA TULL EWELL, daughter of the late John Tull and Bernice Savage Tull, was born on August 11, 1933 in Wattsville, Virginia. She left this life for her eternal heavenly home on Friday, November 27, 2020.

At a very young age, Gloria joined Friendship United Methodist Church, (New Beginnings United Methodist Church) where she faithfully served as a member of the United Methodist Women, the Senior Choir, Food Bank Ministry, and her beloved Usher Board. It was also during her spiritual journey, that she traveled to New York where she was baptized in Jesus’ name and received the Spirit of the Holy Ghost.

GLORIA was united in holy matrimony to Grayson Ewell. She was formerly employed at Golden Pride Poultry Processing until its closure. She then became employed at Holly Farms Poultry Processing, (Tyson Poultry Processing) where she retired after many, many years.

GLORIA was a loving and dedicated mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will forever be remembered for her love for her family, her kind spirit, her words of wisdom, her ever present smile, unwavering faith, and love for Christ.
