Herbert Trader, Jr. was born on October 24, 1960 to Herbert Trader, Sr. and the late Margaret G. Handy Trader in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He departed this life on September 2, 2018 in Richmond, Virginia.
Herbert was educated in the public schools in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He worked several odd jobs throughout his life, mostly in the janitorial industry.
At an early age, Herbert was baptized at Redeemer Tabernacle Church in Philadelphia. He was known to be very humorous and sometimes mischievous. His unique personality, coined him the nickname, “The Wiz.” In later years, Herbert relocated to Richmond, Virginia where he resided until his demise.
Herbert was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret G. Trader and brother, Laird Trader.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: his father, Herbert Trader, Sr.; sisters, Veronica Trader, Claudia Trader-Vinson, Donna Catherine Trader, Vernell White, and Coletta White; brother, Alonzso Broadwater; brothers-in-law, Richard Vinson and Carlson White; special niece and nephew, Vannessa Rae Lawrence and Craig A. “Tony” Phillips; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
