Obituary for Mark Crumpler

Mark Crumpler, beloved son of the late Willie Crumpler, Sr. and Gloria Crumpler, was born on July 26, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on Sunday, January 1, 2023 in Temperanceville, Virginia.

Mark was educated in the public schools in Baltimore, Maryland. In later years, he moved to the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Mark was a provider and always made sure his family was taken care of. He worked at Tysons Foods and most recently at Neal Farms.

Mark was a member of St. John’s Holiness Church in Cambridge, Maryland. He enjoyed worshipping with his family and was preparing to become a deacon.

In his spare time, Mark enjoyed collecting swords. He also had a love for cars and motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Crumpler and Rosa L. Crumpler-McGee.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his fiancé, Asia Woolford; children, Marcus Crumpler Cofield, Marcella Crumpler Cherry, Nevah Woolford, Christine Crumpler, and Mye-Kehl Morris Lee Crumpler; siblings, Gloria (Frank) Crumpler-Holden, James (Ashley) Crumpler, Willie (Angie) Crumpler, Joyce Lipford, and Cynthia Biddle; ;three step-children, King Crippen, Malek Crippen, and Jakeem Crippen; special friends, Diane Cofield Crumpler, Claudia James Crumpler, Evelyn Drummond Crumpler, and Carlette Downing Crumpler; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
