Marquis Lacurtis Knox was born in Nassawadox Virginia, to Barbara Ann Knox and Rodney O. Griffin, Sr. His earthly journey ended on September 3, 2018 in Darmstadt, Germany.

Marquis graduated from Nandua High School in June, 1996 and joined the United States Army in September, 1996. He was employed as a Computer Analyst in Cologne, Germany.

Marquis learned the truth of God and his purpose and love for mankind at an early age. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Exmore, Virginia, while living on the Shore.

Blessed with talent, he spent his free time DJing, making music, and enjoying his three sons, Jordan, Jason, and Jasper Blitz.

Left to mourn his loss are his three sons, Jordan, Jason, and Jasper Blitz; his mother, Barbara Ann Palmer; father, Rodney O. Griffin, Sr.; grandmother, Connie Mae Kinsey; three sisters, Marquisha L. Palmer, Madison L. Palmer, and Candace Griffin; two brothers, Brion Drummond and Rodney Griffin, Jr.; six aunts, Mary Knox Harmon, Clintonia Fletcher, Conekia Kinsey, Creola Knox Davis, Veronica Knox, and Brenda Williams Harmanson; three uncles, Ronnie Lee Knox, Craig Kinsey, and special uncle, Kenneth Thomas Fisher; and a host of cousins who loved him dearly!
