Orville Brown, beloved son of Orville Scarborough, Jr. and the late Nancy Brown, was born on July 5, 1969 in Temperanceville, Virginia. He departed this life on October 29, 2018 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital.
Orville was educated in Accomack County Public Schools. He worked for Perdue Farms in Accomac, as a labor worker and catcher. He also worked at Tyson Foods in Temperanceville as a chicken catcher until his health began to fail.
Orville enjoyed gatherings with his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were the San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors. He will be missed by everyone.
Orville was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Brown; two brothers, James and Eric Brown; maternal grandparents, Neal Brown, Jr. and Lucille Brown; paternal grandparents, Orville and Lois Scarborough; uncle, Neal Brown, III; and aunts, Yvonne Williams and Linda Rena Scarborough.
Orville leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Marsha Brown of Wattsville, VA; son, Markeise Giddings of Wattsville, VA; granddaughter, Zy’mirah Lankford of Hallwood, VA; father, Orville Scarborough, Jr. of Parksley, VA; two sisters, Teresa (Anthony) Austin and Shawna (Milton) Harmon, all of Temperanceville, VA; two stepsons, whom he raised as his own, Frank Piliro of Wattsville, VA and Marcus Giddings of Sicklerville, NJ; two sisters-in-law, Gwen Shockley of Wattsville, VA and Sherry (Lamont) Davis of Greenbackville, VA; one brother-in-law, Lonza (Keva) Drummond, III of Baltimore, MD; ten uncles; nine aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
