Obituary for Rhynia Teresa "Ronnie" Crawley (Smith)
Rhynia Teresa Crawley, affectionately known as “Ronnie,” was born on February 10, 1959 in Nassawadox, Virginia to the late Lloyd H. Giddens, Jr. and Nettie K. Smith. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her residence in Accomac, Virginia.
Ronnie was educated in the public schools of Northampton County. In later years, she earned her G.E.D. from the Eastern Shore Community College in Melfa, Virginia. Ronnie worked in several industries during her life. Her last employment was with Walmart, where she worked until her health prevented her from doing so.
At an early age, Ronnie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of the Church of God in Christ. In her leisure, Ronnie enjoyed playing Bingo, reading, completing puzzles, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wilmer.
Left to cherish her memories are: her daughter, Dorenda Smith; granddaughter, Ariana Smith; stepmother, Mary Giddens; brothers, Roy Lee White (Cheryl) and Harold Smith; sisters, Annie Dozier (Percy), Sandra Smith, and Jeanetta Giddens; aunts, Margaret L. Giddens, Jane G. Cabarrus, and her special aunt, Annie M. Fisher; uncle, Wilmor Giddens; great-aunt, Margaret S. Webb; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
