Stanford served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1946. He married Winnie Grace Wharton in 1947 and they had six children. Stanford was a devoted believer in Christ and a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church. His door was always opened and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved working outdoors and especially enjoyed being on his tractor. An avid sports fan, Stanford was often found in his favorite chair watching every sport, especially his favorite football team the New England Patriots.

He was blessed to have been surrounded by family providing special care during his illness, including his youngest daughter Linda who never left his side, his youngest son Stevie, his son-in-law Richard, his grandson Pierre, and granddaughter Ashley.

Stanford was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Grace Justice; his siblings, Broadus Justice, Ida Mae Justice Davis, Winfred Justice, and Margreat Green; two sons, Earl Justice and Tommy Lee Justice; and his daughters-in-law, Martha Justice and Rosie Justice.

Stanford is survived by two sons, Ronnie Justice and Stevie Justice; two daughters, Linda (Richard) Davis and Connie (Alfred) Needam; brother-in-law, Roland Wharton; sister-in-law, Doretha Fant; daughter-in-law, Louvenia Justice; eighteen grandchildren, two grandsons whom he raised as his sons, Pierre Justice and Adam Justice; numerous great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to have known him during his 95 years.

Lovingly and sorrowfully submitted,
