Obituary for Terry Melvin Fisher Sr,

Terry Melvin Fisher, Sr., beloved son of the late Carlton Fisher and Audrey Cropper Palmer, was born on June 27, 1954 in Wattsville, Virginia. He departed his life on February 2, 2022 at his daughter’s residence in Salisbury, Maryland, surrounded by his family.

Terry was a graduate of Atlantic High School. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Air Force. After Terry received an honorable discharge from the military, he worked as a diesel mechanic for twenty plus years at Perdue Farms. He was also employed at Barr International in Salisbury, Maryland, where he later retired.

Terry enjoyed doing yard work, reading books, and completing word search puzzles in his spare time.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, John and Virgie Cropper; grandson, Michael Fisher, III; a brother-in-law, Ernest Purnell; and two uncles, Warren and Clinton Cropper.

Terry leaves to cherish his precious memories: five children, TerKesha Fisher, Terry Fisher, Jr., Carltina Fisher, Myesha Fisher, and Michael Fisher, all of Salisbury, MD; four sisters, Cyldine Chaney, Trauffine Purnell, Virgie Cropper, all of Salisbury, MD, and Sylvia Dubose of Wilmington, DE; two brothers, Augusta Thomas, Jr. and Nathaniel Palmer, both of Salisbury, MD; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
