Obituary for Tony Terrell "T Bop or Fuel Tank Tony" Weeks Jr.

Tony Terrell Weeks, Jr., also known as “T” or “T-Bop,” was born on November 14, 1990 to Tony Terrell Weeks, Sr. and the late Ethel Chandler Sample. He departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Tony was educated in the public schools of Accomack County. At an early age, he attended Macedonia AME Church in Accomac, Virginia. Tony was very fascinated with trucks and decided to make it his career. The first company he drove for was F & G Trucking of Naples, Florida. In later years, he joined the Moore Trucking family of Belle Haven, Virginia. “Fuel Tank Tony,” as he was known by his trucking family, will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In his spare time, Tony enjoyed partying with his friends and watching a good Dallas Cowboys game. His greatest passion was cleaning his truck and he always kept it clean.

In addition to his mother, Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip “PC” Chandler.

Tony leaves to cherish his loving memory: his father, Tony (Alvinia) Weeks, Sr. of Mappsville, VA; stepfather, Benny Sample, Sr. of Onancock, VA; his daughter, who will arrive in October 2022; four brothers, Damien Brown of Newark, DE, D’Angelo Brown of Mappsville, VA, Demichael Burton of Hampton, VA, and Benny Sample, Jr. of California, MD; four sisters, Ashanti Weeks of Mappsville, VA, April Walker of Onancock, VA, Taishawnia (Rick) Perkins of Bethlehem, GA, and Laquanet Burton of New Bern, NC; grandparents, Lavesta (Robert) Witherspoon; special friend, Andrea Rasher; three best friends, Antoine Sears of Pungoteague, VA, Marcus Harmon of Norfolk, VA, and Otis Stevens of Greenbush, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, trucking family, and friends.

Sorrowfully submitted,
The Family
