Obituary for Virginia Lee "Ginn" Trader (Bloxom)
Virginia Lee Bloxom-Trader was born on August 30, 1955 to the late Robert “Bobby” Byrd and Virginia Mae Bloxom-Sneed. She silently entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Virginia was raised by her grandparents, the late William and Bessie Bloxom, along with her two cousins, Donnie and Tyrone Bloxom.
“Ginn,” as she was affectionately known, attended the public schools of Accomack County. She was baptized at Gospel Temple Baptist Church at a very early age and became a faithful member. She served on the Usher Board until her health started to decline.
Ginn was a very loving mother who always put her children and grandkids first. They were her heart.
Her favorite pastimes were cooking, eating, shopping, traveling, and watching her favorites television shows such as; The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. Let’s not forget she loved Western shows as well.
Ginn retired from Perdue Farms in Accomac, Virginia after she dedicated over twenty years of service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Zakea Trader; son, Perez Trader; two grandchildren, Qatashia Trader and Zeneriakyia Trader; one brother, Stephen (Darlene) Byrd; a very special friend, Randy Bailey; special cousin, Joyce Colona; special friend, Shenita Logan; and a host of special cousins and special friends.
