Willie B. “W.B” Hall, born February 28, 1940 passed away suddenly in Nassawadox, Virginia on December 31, 2020 to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 80. Willie was born in Kerns, Texas to Johnny Mae Turner and Vernon Willie “V.W” Hall and had a public-school education.

He was predeceased by his younger brother, Willie Wayne Hall by fifteen days, as well as his other brothers, Johnny B Turner and Cliff Jackson, and sister, Bobby Carol Patterson.

Willie is lovingly remembered by his only son, Willie B Hall Jr.; his daughters, Doris, Linda, Tamara, Tambra, and Shannon; sister, Addie Bryant; grandchildren; great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Willie was a skilled tradesman at heart, who also enjoyed grilling and baking for his friends and family. He was an avid fisherman who spent many hours on his boat and during his down time, he enjoyed watching westerns and sports. He was a huge Eagles fan. Willie was also a good dancer and enjoyed doing a dance known as “the Bop.” During gatherings, if Willie was not cooking on the grill or doing the Bop, he could be found at the card table playing P’ Knuckle or Pokeno. Willie B. Hall’s infectious laugh and beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of his loved ones who are fortunate to be left with beautiful memories of a beautiful life.

A Poem for You
I thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Memories of you are my keepsake,
With which I’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping,
But I’ll forever have you in my heart!

Sorrowfully submitted,
The Family

“Willie Hall”
“Rest in Heaven”
“Goodbye, My Friend”

How can I tell my heart that you have gone away
I am in loss of words , and thought
Sadness has overflowed my heart

This is the toughest time for me to except your loss, so suddenly and unexpected. I try to have the courage to face it but sadness fills my heart, the memories of you will forever be close in spirit to comfort my ailing heart. You were an exceptional person that had the will to live.

Remembering you is easy, missing you is a heartache; however, you are within my heart where you shall remain forever. By accepting that you now have your wings in heaven, helps me believe you are without pain and suffering but now in the arms of God.

“You’re Forever in my Heart”
For all you were to me in my life
And the joy you brought,
Your memory is with me
In every single thought
The pain I felt at losing you
Will never go away,
But knowing that
You’re in my heart
Helps me through each day.
And though my heart is heavy
It’s also full of love
And that’s enough to comfort me
While you’re in Heaven above.

With Heartfelt memories of you,
